Issues with playing the video game "Anthem"
Okay, first off; this is just my thoughts about this video game and by no way, shape, or form are against anyone or anything that has to do with the making of this game. And therefore should be remember as such things. Now on with the main topic of this blog.
So for the past week, I have been playing this video game called: Anthem. Ever gamer out there knows( if you are a gamer like me that plays all the time and knows how day one releases go) that the day a game is fully released to the public, it's going to have issues (aka bugs). We all know and we expect it to happen. Well with this one here; its like the company just didn't care about what they put out on the market (side note: it took 6 years to make this game).
Many issues though include, but are not limited to the following:
1) Game crashes/freezes up during missions
2) loading issues when trying to join up with friends/free play
3) loot isn't set like they ( the company) said it would be

4) at times things will disappear while your firing at it just to come back behind you and kill you.
And there is many more but not going to waste time writing all that out. But lets get to some other issues. Like players being banned for having to much ammo, coins, gear, and other looted items. I am not making this up a player was banned for 900 (yes you read that right) hours. Just watched a video to see what he was banned for and its dumb. He was banned because of a glitch that was on the game since day one, and it would allow you to use a special move over and over, but you have to remember this game is a PvE not a PvP okay.
If your not sure what a PvE game is, basically it is a player goes against the computer not other players. So with that being said, there is no reason to ban someone for using a glitch that isn't hurting other players what so ever. If anything it helps other players when doing major fights. Another thing to bring up about this game is the fact that a lot of the loot is suppose to be set for certain difficult settings. The higher the difficult setting the better the loot is suppose to be, but of course that's not the case with this game at all.
I am not the only one who is facing these issues either, their are videos all over the internet about this game and all the issues with it. Most people like me were looking forward for this game release and yet we are very unhappy with the out come. It took six years to come out and yet it acts like it was put together in one year. If a game was worked on the right way for six years, then you would want a game to be perfect on release day, sadly with this one it was not. I am sure they will be more issues with the game a long the way and hope like all other players that they will be fixed, but lets face it; the company made their money and they really don't care if we like it or not or if they fix any bugs with the game.
If you were thinking of buying this game I would strongly say wait till its been out for at least 6 months and hope by then most of the issues will be fixed by then. Also hope they put more strongholds into the game and open up more of the map area. Right now all you have is three strongholds and if you fast larger targets they have crappy moves that they get away with.
With that being said, I am talking about the titans. We all know water puts out fire right? well not on this game; if you jump into water trying to cool off, it don't work. The titans fire balls won't only follow like a homing missile, but will also have a fire ball that will form under water and blow up in your face, because in water you move slower and can't dodge it. Its crap and not even close to how it should be. Also if you get hit with a ice bomb, it takes a long time to break free and by then you are shot up and your armor goes down alone with your health fast.
Main thing is that this game is crap as of right now and I am hoping for a lot better from the company that put this garbage out there. But so far it's not looking good for them and could cost them to lose a lot of people. Plus if they keep banning players from their game, then that just shows you that the company is crap and can't handle being told by gamer(s) what they want and would like to see in their games. But I will do an update later on about this game and if I get banned from the company for my thoughts about the game, then I will be posting a update on that too and more than likely suing the company for being snowflakes and we all know we don't need any more of those in this world. But for now I am going to leave it here and go back to playing some more and try to enjoy my morning. Thanks for reading my rants about this game.
